1. INTRODUCTION:
GC - Connectwise FastActivities Gadget is a useful gadget that works with Microsoft Vista, Microsoft Windows 7. It sits on the side bar and allows you to create and follow your activities.
GC - ConnectWise.FastActivities.Gadget is a very useful tool to add a sales activity to ConnectWise. Here you enter the subject, select company, select date, select your team member to whom you want to assign it, add notes and click on Submit. It adds a sales activity to ConnectWise.
Imagine your office receptionist taking customer calls. They can use this application to quickly add an activity to the appropriate queue.
2. HOW THE APPLICATION WORKS:
Click "+" at the top of the Sidebar or right click of the sidebar of the Desktop to display the Gadget Gallery. To add "GC - ConnectWise.FastActivities.Gadget" in the Sidebar, double-click the icon for the "GC - ConnectWise FastActivities Gadget" or drag and drop it to the Sidebar.
Clicking Settings will show where you save the Settings like Web Server Path, User Name, Password and Database. The username and password you add here needs to have the API role enabled for Companies and Activities API. The member ID needs to match with what you have setup ConnectWise. This is a one-time setup.
The webserver path is typically http://mydomainname/v4_6_Release/services/system_io/integration_io.asmx. The username and password need to be setup in ConnectWise. Click here to see details on how to set it up. The database is your company name. The user can use Sync Companies to download the latest list of companies that are in the ConnectWise database.

| When the system is turned on the gadget loads the open activities for that day. You can click to view the details of that activity. |

Click "+" to create a new activity.

Enter Subject, select company, select the team member you want to assign it to, Notes and click Submit to create the activity. Click on an activity subject under “Today’s Activities” to view its details.
